More about this month's topic:  The Kanban Method

Synopsis:

Kanban. What is Kanban? Kanban, like Agile, has descended out of Lean thinking. “The Kanban Method is utilized and applicable in many settings and allows for a continuous flow of work and value to the customer. The Kanban Method is less prescriptive than some agile approaches and thus less disruptive to begin implementing as it is the original ‘start where you are’ method. Organizations can begin applying Kanban Methods with relative ease ... “ (PMI, Agile Practice Guide, 2017).

Join us to learn a little about the Kanban Method. Our discussion will reference a free book Essential Kanban Condensed, by Anderson and Carmichael, 2016, available at:

About Breakfast Roundtable Events:

PMI Honolulu Hawaii Chapter conducts a monthly gathering of people interested in project management to listen to a topic and participate in discussion in a more intimate session. Come meet with other professionals in project management as well as other fields to talk about topics which drive you. Bring your experiences and questions to the table and take the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

Come join us over breakfast and start your day with project management.

If you have a topic you'd like to discuss or you're interested in facilitating the discussion, email me at collegerelations@pmihnl.org.

See you there!
