PMI Talent Triangle:  Leadership

More about this month's topic:  Mentoring

Mentoring. I think we all have had someone at some time influence our careers. It does not have to be a chance event or something for which a protege has to hope. You can be that person providing the boost to launch a career into a new stage. It can happen within the Honolulu PMI Chapter network. The Honolulu Chapter has an excellent mentoring workbook suitable for helping a mentor get the most out of a mentoring experience with a protege. During the roundtable, we will cover the basics of mentoring as described in the PMI Honolulu Mentor Workbook. Take the time to come and meet others interested in developing a mentoring program with the Honolulu Chapter. Or, at the very least, begin to understand what makes for a successful mentor if that chance event does come up.

About Breakfast Roundtable Events:

PMI Honolulu Hawaii Chapter conducts a monthly gathering of people interested in project management to listen to a topic and participate in discussion in a more intimate session. Come meet with other professionals in project management as well as other fields to talk about topics which drive you. Bring your experiences and questions to the table and take the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

Come join us over breakfast and start your day with project management.

If you have a topic you'd like to discuss or you're interested in facilitating the discussion, email me at

See you there!
